Theresa Lemon

Lemon, Theresa MADISON Theresa Lemon, passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at Skaalen Home, Stoughton. She was born on Aug. 29, 1912, in Trempealeau County, to Peter and Tekla Kloss, the eldest of seven children. Theresa attended Independence schools and School of Cosmetology in Minneapolis, Minn. She owned and operated a beauty salon in Independence, later relocating to Madison, and continued to work as a beautician. Theresa married Lloyd Lemon in April 1956, at St. Raphaels Cathedral and was a member of Catholic Daughters for many years. Theresa and Lloyd enjoyed traveling the states, including Hawaii. Crocheting, knitting and sewing were her interests, along with delicious holiday meals for family and friends. Theresa is survived by her step-daughter, Marcia (Andy) Murillo; five grandchildren, Jeff (Mary), Todd (Wendy), Tim, Linda and Adam Meicher; four great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Kyle, Keith and Mason; two great-great-grandchildren, Mabel and Skyler; two sisters, Carolyn Kloss of Whitehall and Marian Juve of Wisconsin Rapids; a brother, Don (Marie); three nieces, Dawn Toraason, Lori Appleton and Jen Heffner; and three nephews, Peter and Dave Juve, and Tom Kloss. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; three brothers-in-law; and a son-in-law, Greg Meicher. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Cottage Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
