Dear Michelle, Alison and Families
I am in a state of shock over your great loss! We were gone for the holidays and had continued to have our Press-Gazette delivered! Thank God that we had or I would have never known about your Mom's passing.
Your Dad and Dick worked at GBCI together until your Dad transferred to the Madison area. A real dream for both of them.
We spent many evenings together at Credit Union functions and have always missed both of your parents. Continue to do so after all of these years.
Your Mom and I have kept in touch ever since by e-mail. Have been sending her updates recently on our daughter Kerri that has been in the hospital in Columbia Missouri expecting twins (been there 8 1/2 wks now) and she was so concerned as your Mom always has been such a nurturer.
I feel so helpless and wish I could have been there to give all of you a hug.
They say that for the person that leaves, this is the best way to go but for those of you left behind---it is terrible!
She kept so busy and did so much for so many people. Know she is missed by many!
Wonder if there is a farm up there in Heaven for her to be working at. Maybe Uncle Werner has one started. Know how excited she would be when she came back to Green Bay and just had been down there and helped out on the farm.
There must have been a real party in heaven when she got there.
She was a beautiful lady with a big heart and all that knew her loved her. We talked often about meeting halfway for lunch some day and just never did it. I feel so bad about that.
I saw on the obituary list at this web-site that a Marian Garvey passed away. I am praying that it was not someone else close to you and Bill, Michelle! That would be just too much, especially at this time of year.
Michelle and Alison, you must have been so proud to have her for your Mom!
Love and God bless all of you
