William Kelly

Kelly, William B. FAIRFIELD GLADE, TENN./SPRINGFIELD, ILL. William B. Kelly, age 81, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007. Bill was the son of William J. Kelly and Emma C. Myers, born in Springfield, Illinois on Feb. 11, 1926. Bill served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in civil engineering. Bill worked for 32 years as a project engineer for Amoco Chemicals. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Kelly; sons, Pat (Jolene) Kelly and Tom Kelly; daughter, Margaret (Ray) Perron; five grandchildren, Daniel (Sara), Caitlin, Shannon, Erin, and Meaghan; and a great-granddaughter, Molly. A Memorial Mass will be held at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1905 West Beltline Highway, Madison on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, at 11 a.m. with Monsignor Thomas Baxter presiding. The visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to The National Kidney Foundation, or to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
