Richard Beyler

Beyler, Richard E. "Dick" MONONA Richard E. "Dick" Beyler, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007. He was born on June 28, 1926, in Madison, to Edward and Odelia (Grosse) Beyler. He was a graduate of Edgewood High School. Dick married the former Ruby S. Wegmueller on Oct. 18, 1948, in Madison. He worked as a wholesale delivery person for the Borden Company for 32 years. Dick went into partnership with his family at the McFarland True Value for many years. He was a member of the McFarland Lions Club and enjoyed Badgers and Packers sporting events, bowling, country western music and took great pride in his yard. Most of all, Dick enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandson. Dick is survived by his wife, Ruby; two sons, Larry (Vicky) Beyler of McFarland and Bill (Diane) Beyler of Oregon; four grandchildren, Alyson (Brian) Eith, Michael (Alison) Beyler, Christine (Mike) Buentello and Charles Beyler; great-grandson, Kyle Richard Eith; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Elaine Everson, Catherine Droz and Barbara Hellenbrand; and two brothers, Patrick and Thomas Beyler. A special thank you to Dr. Stuart Turner, Dr. Phelan, Dr. Kushner, Dr. Wilson, St. Marys Heart Failure Clinic and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Christa Raymond, Nancy Klaus and Chris, Home Health United, including Colleen, Chris and Amanda, HospiceCare Inc. staff and especially Dr. William Rock for the exceptional care they all gave Dick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, with Father John Meinholz presiding. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Marys Foundation Cardiac Care Fund, HospiceCare Inc. or Home Health United.
