Judy Loranger

Loranger, Judy Ann CROSS PLAINS - Judy Ann Loranger, age 52, passed away unexpectedly at home with her family beside her on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007. She was born in Chicago, Ill., on Aug. 15, 1955. The beloved wife of John Loranger for 31 years, and devoted mother to Jennifer, Nicole and Natalie. Her family was the light of her life and she had great pride in taking care and supporting them through all their endeavors. Her love of animals began with Abby, led to the rescue of Sunny, her enduring patience with Wrigley, and finally her new puppies Lucy and Daisy. Judy cherished her many friends, near and far. She was a selfless volunteer at school, Girl Scouts, Junior League, and always put others before herself. Judys young spirit never got her down. She never complained and always had a smile on her face. Her arms were always open to whoever needed her. She was a mother to everyone and lived to make others happy. An avid sports fan, she never forgot her roots, sticking with the Chicago White Sox, Bears and Blackhawks, whether they were winning or not. One of her many accomplishments was creating Pretty Pouches by Judy. Making purses for every occasion was her specialty! She was especially close to her mother, LaVerne Janushek of Tinley Park, Ill.; and her two sisters, Donna Gatto (Carl) of Tinley Park, Ill., and Susan Janushek of Laughlin, Nev. She was a loving daughter-in-law of Frances Loranger of Oak Lawn, Ill.; and sister-in-law of Mary Wallenburg of Orland Park, Ill., Marguerite Jordan (James) of Sanibel Island, Fla., and Tim Loranger (Jean) of Mokena, Ill. She was a loving aunt to Angela, Carl and Amanda Gatto, Ryan Carlson (Mandy), Tina, Phillip, Marie and Johnny Wallenburg, Bret and Tyler Loranger, Lindsay Cummings, and Alicia and Angelica Jordan. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, her hero, William Janushek; her father-in-law, John A. Loranger; her grandparents; and aunts and uncles. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARDS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at 11 a.m. with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Friends may call on Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the UW Comprehensive Cancer Center, K4/658 CSC, 600 Highland Ave., Madison, WI 53792-0001.
