Huntington, Lewis A. MIDDLETON/ SAN DIEGO, CALIF. - Lewis A. Huntington, age 90, of Middleton, formerly San Diego, Calif., passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at HospiceCare in Fitchburg. Lewis was born April 29, 1917, in Anaheim, Calif., to the late George and Elizabeth (Kemper) Huntington. He was married to Gloria Sworthout for 29 years, before her death. Lewis later married Gladys Hagen and was married to her for 30 years before her death. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Lewis was an auditor for the state of California for 30 years. Bowling and golfing with his friends and co-workers was one of his favorite things to do along with following his beloved San Diego Padres. Along with his wife, Gladys, they traveled around the world. Lewis is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Frank) Fouke of Cucamonga, Calif.; son, Lewis Jr. (Dolores) Huntington of Middleton; five grandchildren, Michael (Sarah) Curran, Gregory (Kelly) Huntington, David (Jean) Huntington, James (Jennifer) Adams and Theresa Mora-Huntington; and 10 great-grandchildren, Camaren, Brenden, Michael, Madison, Jessica, Alea, Jasmine, Kaitlyn, Katrina and Matthew. He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Gloria and Gladys; great-great-grandson, Parker; brother, Tom; and a sister, Dedda. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007. Burial will be at a later date in San Diego, Calif.
