Edward Collies

Collies, Edward L. MADISON - Edward L. Collies, age 49, beloved husband, father and son, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, in Madison. He was born on Oct. 20, 1958, in Madison, the son of Edward Collies and Karen Pantaleo. Edward had been a CNA at CWC and Mendota; he also worked for Oscar Mayer and other places, but most recently his favorite job was as a driver for Eldercare of Wisconsin. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed following the Badgers, Packers and Cubs. He graduated in 1976, from Madison East High School and also graduated from the Wisconsin School of Electronics. He was united in marriage to Pamela Falk on April 25, 1986. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela; two sons, Ed "E.J." and Ryne Collies; future daughter-in-law, Crystal; his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Lori Collies; niece, Catlin; nephew, Connor; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. He was a wonderful, nurturing man who will be missed by all who knew him. The family wishes to thank all involved in caring for him at the end of his life.
