Dennis Potter

Potter, Dennis G. MILFORD, OHIO - Dennis G. Potter, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on Sept. 23, 1942, in Madison, the son of George and Kathleen (Wold) Potter. Dennis served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Colleen ODea. Dennis was employed at General Mills, as a sales manager, retiring in 2000. He is survived by his loving wife, Colleen; a daughter, Michelle Potter of Madison; three brothers, Steven of Janesville, David of Medford, Ore., and Jeff of Stoughton; a sister, Judy of Austin, Texas; in-laws, David and Dorothy ODea of Madison; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Christine Potter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, with Father Kent Schmitt presiding. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Miracles for Life Foundation, 9525 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242, to any organization to help those with liver disease or to a charity of the donors choice.
