Russell Bohn

Bohn, Russell M. MADISON - Russell M. Bohn, age 84, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at St. Marys Hospital. He was born on Jan. 16, 1923, in Madison, the son of August and Melvina (Whiting) Bohn. Russ was united in marriage to Anita J. Johnson, on June 5, 1948, in Madison. He worked for Lees Roto Rooter for more than 30 years. Russ was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports. Russ was known to be able to fix anything. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Anita "Joan;" four daughters, Patricia (Peter) DiMartino, Linda (Mike) Andrew, Janet Lesch and Marcia (Mike) Lalor; and four grandchildren, Russell DiMartino, Jessie Lesch, Alicia Lalor and Evan Lalor. Russ was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Laura Bohn; and four sisters. A Memorial Gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 8, 2007. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the caregivers that helped with his care. Russ was a devoted husband and father, and was loved by all who knew him. You will always have a special place in our hearts. We love you Daddy.
