Viola Barr

Barr, Viola "Ruth" MADISON - Viola "Ruth" Barr, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at the Meriter Hospital in Madison.. She was born on May 8, 1929, in Sweetwater, Tenn., the daughter of John and Nina Hensley. Ruth was united in marriage to Orville Barr in 1944. He preceded her in death. She worked in food service for Gaylords Catering and also for Blackhawk Country Club. Ruth is survived by her son, Kenneth (Cyndi) Barr of Madison; her daughter, Charlene (Terry) Busch of Polk City, Fla.; a grandson, Jeffery (Becky) Busch of Minneapolis, Minn. and a brother, Norman Hensley of Corpus Christi, Texas. In addition to her husband, Orville Barr, Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nina Hensley; three brothers, John , Jack and William Hensley and two sisters, Helen Busby and Juanita Muller. Funeral services will be held at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 1, 2007. Family and friends may call on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
