Ramona Kleven

Kleven, Ramona Fay MIDDLETON - Ramona Fay Kleven, age 67, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at St. Marys Care Center. She was born on April 9, 1940, in Stoughton, the daughter of Roger and Ruby Jacobson and graduated from Stoughton High School in 1958. On Feb. 27, 1960, Ramona was married to Duane Kleven in Stoughton. She was employed as a secretary at Professional Pest Control. Ramona had a variety of interests including golfing, playing cards, working crossword puzzles, cooking and entertaining, but enjoyed most, the time spent with her family. Ramona also belonged to Blackhawk Womens Golf League. She is survived by her husband, Duane Kleven; a daughter, Charlotte (Dennis) Jones; a son, Kurt Kleven; a granddaughter, Claire Jones; two grandsons, Clayton Jones and Tyler Kleven; her mother, Ruby Jacobson; a sister, Darlene Eddingsaas; and many, many friends. Ramona was preceded in death by her father, Roger Jacobson; and a brother, David Jacobson. Services will be held at BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 312 Wisconsin Ave., Madison, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, with Pastor William R. White presiding. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 10, 2007. Memorials may be made to St. Marys Care Center, 3401 Maple Grove Drive, Madison, WI 53719. The family would also like to thank Lora Lysne and the wonderful people at the St. Marys Care Center for the loving care they gave Mona in her final days.
