Inez Clementi

Clementi, Inez M. MADISON - Inez M. Clementi, age 88, passed away peacefully, with her daughter by her side on Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Skaalen Home, after a lengthy illness. She was born on May 8, 1919, in Nettle Creek Township, Ind., to Kenneth and Ruby (Howell) Fritz. Inez graduated from Modoc High School in 1937, in Modoc, Ind. She married Tony Clementi on March 17, 1944. Inez worked at Badger Tavern, Mikes Bar and Restaurant and retired from Leader Nursing Home, after many years in food service. She volunteered at the Madison Senior Center. Inez was an avid bowler in her younger days. She enjoyed going to garage sales, sewing, knitting, crocheting and a variety of arts and crafts. Inez loved to read and would always read to her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Inez is survived by her daughter, Ruby Marie Clementi of Madison; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and LaTasha Clementi; two brothers, Cecil (Lucille) Fritz and the Rev. Jim (Marge) Fritz, both of Indiana; sisters-in-law, Florence Blazek and Jenny Clementi, both of Madison; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1979; her parents; and an infant son. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, 2007. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
