Mary Branch

Branch, Mary MONONA - Mary Ann Branch, age 81, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at the HospiceCare Center. She was born on Feb. 19, 1926, in Norfolk, Neb., the daughter of Ernest and Sadie (Schoenfeldt) Ebeling. Mary was united in marriage to William Orsen Branch on July 2, 1945, having just celebrated their 62nd Anniversary. She retired from the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration after 31 years. Mary has been a long time member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and a variety of crafts. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Bill of Monona; children, Ernie (Jill) Branch of Chilton, Wis., Judy (Jim) Raad of Littleton, Colo., and David Branch of Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren, Andy and Calli Branch; and a sister, Deylane Ebeling of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Violet Fell and Lillian Lund. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday. Sept. 11, 2007, at 3 p.m. at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive. Inurnment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park.
