Obituary

Brown, Wayne D. MADISON - Wayne D. Brown, age 75, passed into the eternal light on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, after a valiant fight with Parkinsons disease and leukemia. He was born to Elvera Johnson and Lester Brown, in Chicago, Ill., on Dec. 2, 1931. Wayne was a graduate of UW-Madison and attended UW Law School. He joined the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean conflict. Wayne was proud to have served. He married Susan Middleton and they had four children. They remain good friends. Wayne then married Annette Cardarella and they had a son. He enjoyed life and loved a good joke, reading, woodworking, making toys for the grandkids, playing cards, a good discussion on politics and holiday gatherings. Wayne is survived by his wife, Annette; children, Becky (Teresa Saunders) Brown, Kevin (Amy) Brown, Kathy (Rick Monson) Brown, Christopher (Gretchen) Brown and Wayne (Jeni) Brown; stepchildren, Debra (Scott) Jonovic, Kathy (Peter) Liebl, Sam (Kris) Buscemi, Vickie (Dave) Bedell, Mike (Kristi) Buscemi, Paul (Karen) Buscemi and Robb Buscemi; 16 grandchildren; twin sisters, Diane (Bill) Baarlaer of Virginia, and Donna (Fred) Rudy of Lac du Flambeau; and nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvera and John LaCrosse, and Lester and Charlotte Brown; and a brother, Wally Brown, who also had Parkinsons. Wayne had been sick for 17 years and he is now at rest, after a courageous fight. At his request, private funeral services will be held. The family would like to thank the staffs of Karmenta Center and Hospice. Thanks to all of you for making Waynes life and his passing easier.
