I became acquainted with Wayne during my previous job with the Human Service Center when I assisted consumers in starting a drop-in recovery and support center. Wayne frequently came to my office to drop off money donations to purchase magazines for the group or provide materials for activities. We had many engaging conversations. While his mental health struggles made some aspects of his life difficult, Wayne often brought much joy to others. His playful spirit, his intelligence, his artistic soul and his heart full of caring will be missed. My sympathies and prayers go out to Wayne's family. May peace be with him.
