Corinne Hansen

Hansen, Corinne P. "Corkey" OREGON - Corinne "Corkey" P. Hansen, age 76, passed away on Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at the HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg. She was born on July 31, 1931, in Wausau, to Martin and Anne (Parsch) Wilcott. Corkey married Bob "Shorty" Hansen on July 5, 1949. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, a volunteer at the Oregon Senior Center, and a charter member of Foxbro. Corkey was an avid Packers fan. She is survived by her daughter, Kris (Mark) Durkin of Verona; her son, Kurt Hansen (fiance, Kathy Gombar) of Oregon; five grandchildren, Amy (David) Spach, Michelle (Kevin) Ploessl, Erin (Frank) Simpson, Jenna Hansen and Kelsey Hansen; and eight great grandchildren, Kaci, Jacob and Baily Spach, Taryn and Ben Ploessl and Camden, Avery and Teagan Simpson. Corkey was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Hansen; and brothers, Bobby and Robert. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 431 Soden Drive, Oregon, on Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mended Little Hearts of Southern Wisconsin.
