Jane Fotes

Fotes, Jane L. MONONA-Jane L. Fotes, age 73, passed away on Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, after a long illness. She was born on Aug. 16, 1934, in Elkorn, the daughter of Glen and Dorothy (Jungbluth) Wheeler. Jane worked as an independent Mary Kay consultant for many years. She was a member of Monona United Methodist Church. Jane is survived by her son, Rich (Natalie) Fotes of Cambria and his father, William Fotes of Madison; granddaughter, Cheyenne Fotes; brother, Glen (Shirley) Wheeler of California; sister-in-law, Juanita Wheeler of California; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregg, on Dec. 29, 2004; her parents and a brother, Donald. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, with the Rev. Sue Burwell presiding. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Janes family for a scholarship fund for Cheyenne. The family would like to thank all of those who helped during her illness.
