Dennis Timm

Timm, Dennis F. MADISON-Dennis F. Timm, age 71, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at the HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg. He was born on May 21, 1936, in Madison, to Archie and Mabel (Waltman) Timm. Dennis graduated from Wisconsin High School in 1955. He married Janet Lamore on April 27, 1962, in Madison. Dennis worked at University Hospital from 1956 until 1966, then he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 32 years, retiring in 1998. He was a mission partner at All Saints Lutheran Church, Fitchburg. Dennis enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a blue grass fan. Dennis is survived by his daughter, Renee Timm of Sioux Falls, S.D.; son, Steve Timm of Madison; sister-in-law, Bridgett Timm of Madison; and special friend, Bonita Fleming and her daughter, Isabelle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet; parents; and brother, Archie Timm. Funeral services will be held at ALL SAINTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2951 Chapel Valley Road, Fitchburg, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, with the Rev. Richard Johnson presiding. Visitation will be at the church from noon until the time of the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
