Brown, Michael J. "Mike" MADISON - Mike Brown, age 35, of Madison, died on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at the HospiceCare Center, following a hard-fought six year battle with brain cancer. Mike was a sweet, strong, lovable, courageous, loyal, determined, fun loving, hard working man, who was admired and respected by his family and friends. Comfortable in a group or alone on a lake, he was an inspiration to those whose lives he touched. Mike is survived by his parents, John and Linda (Kramer) Brown; two sisters, Michelle (Brian) Montrey and Melanie (Paul) Huchthausen; and six very special nieces and nephews, Alex, Megan, Nathan and Sydney Montrey, and Leah and Katie Huchthausen. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, 2007. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Many people made life easier and happier for Mike. His family would like to thank Dr. McFarland, the wonderful caregivers at HospiceCare in Fitchburg, Laser Source, and Mikes friends, uncles and aunts, especially Aunt Barb.
