Charlotte Johnson

Johnson, Charlotte B. MADISON-Charlotte B. Johnson, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at the HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg, after a long struggle with breast cancer. She was born on June 6, 1922, in Oconomowoc, to Charles and Victoria (Kinkaid) Billett. Charlotte married Lloyd (Gibbins) Johnson on Dec. 26, 1941. He preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1995. Charlotte was a charter member of Lake Edge Lutheran Church and a member of Madison Elks Auxiliary No. 410. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing euchre and going up to Eagle River. Charlotte is survived by two sons, Greg and Brad (Theresa); a grandson, Mark (Dawn), all of Madison; special niece, Delores (Harold) Rupp; and her little dog, Tracee. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two sisters, Ethel Gefke and Winifred Anderson. Private family services will be held. Charlotte will be laid to rest beside her husband at Highland Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
