Jeanette Sachtjen

Sachtjen, Jeanette M. MADISON-Jeanette M. Sachtjen, age 43, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at University Hospital, after an extended illness. She was born on Dec. 10, 1963, in Madison, to Elwood and Barbara (Stoflet) Sachtjen. Jeanette graduated from LaFollette High School in 1982. She was employed by Union Cab Company and at group homes in Madison. Jeanette enjoyed ceramics and camping at Wilderness Campground with her father. She is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; including her caregivers, Jim and Joan Stoflet and Dick and Dee Sachtjen. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at ZION EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2165 Linden Ave., Madison, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, with the Rev. Pat Siegler presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m until the time of the services. Memorials may be made in Jeanettes name to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church or to a charity of the donors choice.
