Edna Rabuck

Rabuck, Edna Arlene MADISON - Edna Arlene Rabuck, age 84, passed away in the presence of her family on Sunday, July 22, 2007, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center. She was born on Aug. 31, 1922, in Gotham, the daughter of Otto and Goldie (Dary) Schloemer. She married Howard "Jack" Rabuck on June 14, 1941, in Madison. Her joy was bowling, which she played until she was 80 years old. She also loved to crochet and watching sports, especially the Badgers, Packers and the Brewers. Edna did child care in her home for many years and was still visited by the children she cared for. Her greatest joy after the death of her husband, was her pets. Edna is survived by her children, William Rabuck of Madison, Janice (Michael) Wheeler of Stoughton, Linda (James) Edges of Madison, Edwin (Gisela) Rabuck of Madison, Joseph (Mary) Rabuck of Sun Prairie and Michael (Jeanne) Rabuck of Pardeeville; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her infant twin brother; her sister, Donna Thorpe; and her brothers, Byron Cunningham and Loren Cunningham. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2007, at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, with Pastor Mike Celosse from Lake View Church in Stoughton presiding. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
