Brent Swenson

Swenson, Brent K. MADISON - Brent K. Swenson, age 41, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2007. He was born on Jan. 17, 1966, in Madison. Brent served three years in the U.S. Army. He graduated from cosmetology school in Madison and trained at the Aveda Institute. Brent eventually made his way to Chicago, where he owned and operated Fusion Salon and Day Spa. His many talents included being a freelance make up artist for CNN and Oprah?s Harpo Studios. While in Chicago, Brent was very well known for his artistry that touched many celebrities throughout the country. He continued his artistry in the Madison area and this month he was featured in the Brava Magazine. Amongst Brent?s many talents, he designed and created custom metal fabricating designs throughout the Chicago and Madison area. His passions consisted in many other areas including his love for films and documentaries, which lead him to develop and create screen plays that were planned for production this year. Brent is survived by his mother, Mary (Donald) LaSavage; father, Jack (Janet) Swenson; brothers, Christopher Swenson and Brian Hodge; and special friends, Russ Warye and Gina Baker. He will be sadly missed by all his family, all his cousins, and friends. A celebration of life will be held at DOUBLEDAYS, 4586 Baxter Road, Cottage Grove, from noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2007. Lunch will be served.
