Elizabeth Ziegler

Ziegler, Elizabeth "Betty" MIDDLETON - Elizabeth "Betty" Ziegler, age 90, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2007, at Waunakee Manor. Betty was born on Feb. 20, 1917, in the Town of Springfield, the daughter of Ludwig and Catherine (Noltner) Endres. Betty married Theodore Ziegler on June 19, 1941, at St. Martins Catholic Church in Martinsville. Betty worked at Rayovac and later at Gimbles in Hilldale. She was a member of St. Bernards Catholic Church, the Five-O-Club, the Catholic Knights and was very active with the parish kitchen. Betty is survived by two sisters, Marie (Ray) Ziegler of Waunakee and Dorothy (Harold) Hellenbrand of Middleton; a brother, Vincent (Lorraine) Endres of Waunakee; two sisters-in-law, Betty Endres and Lucille Endres; many nieces and nephews; and many grand nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore, in 1985; a sister, Loretta Karls; and brothers Joseph, David and Donald Endres. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARDS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, on Monday, June 25, 2007, at 11 a.m. with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Burial will be in St. Bernards Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, on Sunday, June 24, 2007, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. A visitation will also be held on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
