Michael McLean

McLean, Michael John MADISON - Michael John McLean, age 39, of Madison, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2007, as a result of complications of cystic fibrosis. Mike was born on May 28, 1968, in Madison. He graduated from Memorial High School in 1986. In 1992, Mike graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. Following graduation, Mike worked in medical/ surgical sales for seven years in Orlando, Fla. He returned to Madison in 1999 and was employed as a medical sales representative with MEDRAD. Michael was recognized for his outstanding performance by being given MEDRADS Presidents Award in 2006. He is survived by his parents, Jackie and Bruce McLean of Madison. Mike coped with a brutal disease with unbelievable courage, determination and grace. In doing so, he taught those of us who knew and loved him, so much about living. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Bethesda, MD 20814 or HospiceCare, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to celebrate Mikes life on Friday, June 29, 2007, at 4 p.m. in the FOUNDERS ROOM, HILTON HOTEL, Monona Terrace.
