Rebecca Osmond

Osmond, Rebecca E. BROOKLYN - Rebecca E. Osmond, age 27, of Brooklyn, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at UW Hospital, from a pulmonary embolism. She was born on April 14, 1980, in Beloit, the daughter of Gary and Susan (Sargent) Osmond. Rebecca graduated from Oregon High School in 1998. She earned an associate degree in early childhood from Ivy Tech in Lafayette, Ind. Rebecca was employed by La Petite Academy in Belleville. She is survived by her parents; siblings, Lucas of Madison, and Sarah of Brooklyn; grandmother, Margaret Sargent of Florida; grandfather, Glen Osmond of Janesville; two uncles, David (Dawn) Sargent of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Glen (JoAnn) Osmond Jr. of Lake Villa, Ill.; aunt, Joyce (Ron) Luebke of Viroqua; many cousins; and her best friend, Charlie. Rebecca was preceded in death by her grandmother, Millie Osmond; and her grandfather, John Sargent. A Memorial Service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 3 p.m., on Saturday, June 23, 2007, with the Rev. Clara Thompson presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UW Childrens Hospital.
