Glida Rosemeyer

Rosemeyer, Glida E. MADISON - Glida E. Rosemeyer, age 97, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2007, at the HospiceCare Center. She was born on Oct. 17, 1909, in Phelps, the daughter of Harold J. and Amelia (Patser) Plopper. Glida worked for 24 years as a licensed practical nurse at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Madison. She was a member of Bashford United Methodist Church. Glida is survived by her daughter, Deloris Eul; five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Arthur Eul; brother, Joe; and sisters, Margaret and Myrtle. A memorial service will be held at BASHFORD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 329 North St., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2007, with the Rev. Edmond White presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
