Judy Wauters

Wauters, Judy Ann MADISON - Judy Ann Wauters, age 60, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at St. Marys Hospital, after a courageous eight and a half year battle with cancer. She was born on Oct. 26, 1946, in Waukegan, Ill., to Ray and Isabel (Tetzlaff) Pekonen. Judy married William Wauters on Jan. 20, 1968, in Milwaukee. She has resided in Madison since 1973. Judy worked at Madison Area Technical College, Wisconsin Physicians Service and most recently, University Hospital. She loved her trips to Las Vegas and spending time in her garden tending flowers. Judy was a dedicated pet friend and a great friend to many people. She is survived by her husband, William; and two sons, Christopher of Vancouver, Wash. and Michael of Madison. Judy was preceded in death by her parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2007, with Father John Meinholz presiding.
