Obituary
Haynes, Arline Margaret MADISON - Arline Margaret Haynes, age 77, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on Thursday, May 17, 2007. She was born on Oct. 6, 1929, the daughter of Fred and Hazel (Napstad) Hanson. Arline graduated from Madison East High School. She was united in marriage to Loren "Bud" Haynes on July 14, 1962. Arline worked as an administrative assistant for the Wisconsin Hospital Association for many years. She was active in life traveling and participating in many sports, but most importantly she was the hub of the Hanson family. It was Arline that maintained communications, brought the family together, and was the family care taker. Arline was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years and most recently a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Verona. She is survived by her three daughters, Charlene (Douglas) Meier of Black Earth, Patricia (Robert) Dewar of The Villages, Fla., and Margie (William) Guentzler of El Cajon, Calif.; four grandchildren, Kelley (Geoffrey) Mangino, Steven (Christine) Goe, Steven (Michelle) Meier and Daniel (Heidi) Meier; eight great-grandchildren, Erica, Anthony and Matthew Mangino, Brittany, Ashley and Jessica Goe, Aaron Meier and Douglas Meier; a sister, Helen Schoenick of Verona; two brothers, Jim (Ann) Hanson of Belvidere, Ill., Frank (Beverly) Hanson of Cape Coral, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Leigh Hanson of Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arline was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; her parents; a sister, Gladys Jacobson; an infant sister, Ingebell; and a brother, Lee. Funeral services will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1904 Winnebago St., Madison, at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, May 22, 2007, with the Rev. John Ruppenthal and the Rev. Kurt Billings con-celebrating. Burial will be in Blooming Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Monday, May 21, 2007, and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 427 S. Main St., Verona, WI, 53593.
