Harold Walls

Walls, Harold E. "Bud" MADISON - Harold E. "Bud" Walls, age 85, of Madison, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2007, at his home. He was born on July 12, 1921, in LaFayette, Ind., the son of Earl and Edith Walls. Bud was united in marriage to M. Lois "Mickey" Reuter in 1947. He served in the U.S. Army in the Philippines and was proud that he was there when Gen. MacArthur "did return". Bud worked for many years at Ray-O-Vac and Gardners Bakery. He is survived by his five children, Donna (Tim) Riddle, Kenneth "Bud" Walls, Sharon (Steve) Bollig, Karon (Bart) Lindsay and Nancy Bjornson; 15 grandchildren, Sarah, Andy and Sandi Riddle, Justin, Tracy, Adam and Ben Bollig, Dave and Jesse Clements, Kristin, Sonja and Haley Bjornson, Lora and Nora Walls; six great-grandchildren; five brothers, Lowell, Dick, Larry, Babe and Don; four sisters, Thelma, Judy, JoAnn and Marilyn; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Bud was preceded in death by his wife, "Mickey" in 1990; his parents; two sisters, Marie and Louise; and two brothers, Ray and Ron. Funeral services will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 401 Femrite Drive, Monona, at 2 p.m., on Thursday, May 10, 2007. Burial will follow the service. Visitation will be held in the chapel from noon until the time of the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HospiceCare Inc.
