Phyllis Hinickle

Hinickle, Phyllis MADISON - After only a short month from diagnosis to death, Phyllis Hinickle succumbed to an aggressive cancer on Monday, April 9, 2007. She was 81. Phyllis was preceded in death by her son, Jason, in 2001. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Fred; daughter, Lisa of St. Paul, Minn.; daughter-in-law, Karen of DeForest; sister, Beverly; and nephews, Paul and Adam of Houston, Texas. Her specific request is that no memorial service be conducted and that each of her many friends honor her privately, in a manner reflecting the esteem in which Phyllis was held. She was a professional social worker for 30 years, devoted to serving the interests of children. Her boundless ability to relate to people in a meaningful way, sustained all who knew her. Phyllis will be sorely missed. The family wishes to acknowledge with gratitude, the thoughtful and sensitive service provided by HospiceCare in her final days.
