Alan Wagner

Wagner, Alan L. MADISON - Alan L. Wagner, born in 1927, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2007, while sailing back from Hawaii. He lived in Sauk City and Milwaukee before becoming a long time resident of Madison. Al served in the U.S. Army and was active in the Boy Scouts and the East Side Club, formally ESBMA. He retired from American Family Insurance, where he had many friends. Al loved playing competitive contract bridge. His cheerful demeanor and optimism will be sorely missed by his three sons, Dave (Bonnie) of Delavan, Carl (Lin) of Beloit and Doug (Sam) of Genoa City; and his good friend and partner, Ardis Clark and her family. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mabel; and his wife, Barbara. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 6 p.m., on Thursday, April 12, 2007. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association.
