Barbara Kessenich

Kessenich, Barbara Ann COTTAGE GROVE - Barbara Ann Kessenich, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at home. She was born in Sparta, on July 15, 1945, the daughter of Mary Ann Cole and the late Lloyd Cole. Barb married Jim Kessenich on May 17, 1969. She was a member of Bashford United Methodist Church, where she also served as office manager for 42 years. Barb had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed life. She will be missed by her family and friends. Barb is survived by her husband, Jim; daughter, Michelle (Tracy) Klute; son, Kevin; and two grandchildren, Whitney Klute and Austin Klute. She was preceded in death by their son, Todd. Funeral services will be held at BASHFORD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 329 North St., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2007, with the Rev. Fran Deaner presiding. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2007. In lieu of flowers, it was Barbs wish to have memorials given to Bashford United Methodist Church. A special thank you for the loving care provided by HospiceCare and the medical staff at Dean.
