Edith Boyle

Boyle, Edith Ann MONONA - Edith Ann Boyle, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at the HospiceCare Center, Fitchburg. She was born on May 3, 1926, in Medford, to Werner and Aurelia (Seehafer) Pflughoeft. Edith married John "Jack" Boyle, a retired Madison dentist, on July 24, 1946, in Medford. She enjoyed watching sports, traveling, vacations at the family cottage on Lake Esadore, and spending time with her family. Edith is survived by her husband, Jack; three children, John (Mary) of Middleton, Susan (Charles) Peters of West Bloomfield, Mich., and Mark (Cathy) of Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren; a brother, Dr. Frederick (Roylee) Pflughoeft of Wauwatosa; and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2007. Private family services will be held. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice Foundation.
