Kyle Ryan

Ryan, Kyle Thomas MADISON - Kyle Thomas Ryan, age 21, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 2, 2007. He was born on April 17, 1985, in Kalamazoo, Mich., the son of Tom and Cheryl (Flory) Ryan. Kyle attended Frank Allis Elementary School, Sennett Middle School and graduated from LaFollette High School in 2003. He was currently attending UW-Platteville, majoring in computer science. As a young boy, Kyle and his brother spent hours on end playing with Legos, making sand castle volcanoes, exploring for bugs and other critters and enjoying all of the joys of boyhood. As a family, we loved to spend our vacations at the ocean, searching for sharks teeth and other ocean treasures. In high school, he was a high honors student with a passion for computers and aviation and played the tenor sax in the band. He waited each year for the chance to spend time with his dad and later his friends at the EAA Fly-In. With his friends, Kyle enjoyed paintball outings, playing video games, soccer, camping, canoeing and just being together. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Cheryl Ryan of Madison; a brother, Graham of Madison; grandmother, Mary Fergus of Saginaw, Mich.; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends. A remembrance service to celebrate the life of Kyle will be held at the PIONEER STUDENT CENTER on the UW-Platteville campus, Platteville, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2007. Kyles friends are encouraged to join together to share their memories and thoughts with each other and his family. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2007. Visitation with family and friends will be at the funeral home from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2007. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kyle Ryan Scholarship Fund in care of Monona State Bank, 5515 Monona Drive, Monona, WI 53716. We will miss your sly smile, your perfectly timed one-line zingers and even your old gray hoodies. We love you forever and hope you are at peace.
