Obituary
Kohlhardt, Wilma M. MADISON - Wilma M. Kohlhardt, died Sunday, March 18, 2007, following a massive stroke, two days past her 85th birthday. She was born in Ripon in 1922, the 10th child of George and Jessie Stellmachers 12 children. She was a loving, healthy and active individual who found fulfillment being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She took care of everyone with her gentle and caring manner. Being an active member in her church and strong in her belief, it was fitting that she was participating in a hymn sing in a church with a childhood friend when she suffered her stroke. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1991; and is survived by her son, Jeff (Sue) Kohlhardt of Woodland, Calif.; a daughter, Janis (Mark) Hanson of Madison; and sons, Greg (Sue), Randy, Brian, all from Madison, and Keith of Ft. Collins, Colo. She is further survived by four grandchildren, Matthew (Kasey), Carl, Anika and Brett; and a great-grandchild, Mercedes. Memorial Services will be held at the MIDDLETON COMMUNITY CHURCH, 645 Schewe Road (two miles West of the Beltline, corner of Schewe and Old Sauk Roads) Middleton at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2007, with the Rev. James Iliff presiding. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Wilma was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
