Michael Taschler

Taschler, Michael J. ARLINGTON - Michael J. Taschler, loving husband and father, age 56, of Arlington, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2007, at his home, surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 21, 1950, the son of Louis and Geraldine (Moore) Taschler. Michael married his wife, Debby, on Nov. 14, 1981, in Carlsbad, Calif. He worked for OMara Moving Systems for more than 15 years. Michael had the "heart of a tiger", was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed working with his hands. He is survived by his wife, Debby; two sons, Scott (Kelly) and Eric (Robin); two grandchildren, Amy and Zachary; three sisters, Mary (John) Jardin, Catherine (Brian) Harber, and Ruth (Jeff) Field; a brother, Tracy (Charis) Taschler; and other relatives and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., at 3 p.m., on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, with the Rev. Gwen Brandfass presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
