Phyllis Blum

Blum, Phyllis J. COTTAGE GROVE - Phyllis J. Blum, age 48, died on Sunday, March 18, 2007, at St. Marys Hospital, Madison, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Feb. 19, 1959, in Token Creek, to Carl and Ardis Foss. Phyllis was known best for her unconditional love for her family and friends as well as her infectious laughter and kind smile. She was so very proud of her family. Phyllis treasured time in her flower gardens. She is survived by her life partner, Jack Kramer of Cottage Grove; two sons, Nathan (Jeanann) of Berlin, and Nicholas of Waterloo; her beloved Great Dane, Zoe; a brother, Howard (Linda) Foss of Madison; niece, Tina (Todd) Franke and children, Jacob and Megan of Madison; nephew, Scott (Gina) Foss and son, Ian of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and many other loving relatives and friends. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; and three infant children. A Memorial Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Thursday, March 22, 2007, with a family prayer service at 6:45 p.m. A special thank you to Stacy Kramer and Phyllis close friends for your loving support and care through these past many months.
