Veda Kittleson

Kittleson, Veda Ellen BLACK EARTH - Veda Ellen Kittleson, age 88, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007. She was born on May 13, 1918, in LaFarge, the daughter of Pearl and Hattie (Clark) Campton. Veda married Chester Kittleson in Dubuqu, Iowa on Nov. 13, 1937. Veda was a lifelong member at St. Martins Lutheran Church. Veda worked for Oscar Mayer and sold Avon Cosmetics throughout her life. She loved to cook, play cards, visit with friends and spend time with her grandchildren. Veda is survived by her four children, Linda (Leon) Chute of St. Marys, Ga., Gary (Jodi) of Mazomanie, Charles of Cross Plains, and Robert (Kathy) of Meritt Island, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Mike, Travis, Joni, Heidi, Mark, Dana, and Jodie; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Campton (Bernetta) of Viroqua. Veda was preceded in death by her husband, Chester; three brothers, Verlon, Denver and Vincent Campton; and four sisters, Lila Myer, Gertrude Frey, Glida Gray and Freid. Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at ST. MARTINS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2427 Church Street, Cross Plains. The Rev. Peter Jonas will be presiding.
