Robert Williams

Williams, Robert Alton MADISON - Robert Alton Williams, age 87, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, in Madison. He was born on April 15, 1919, in Stoughton, to Alton and Clara (Phillips) Williams. Bob graduated from Verona High School and University of Wisconsin-Madison. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force for four years, during World War II. Bob owned a hearing aid business. He worked many years for the state of Wisconsin, Assessors Office as a commercial appraiser. Bob was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his sisters, Karen Williams Soldatos of Whitefish Bay, and Florence Cerrato of Marinette; two nephews; and a niece. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. Burial will be at Verona Cemetery. A memorial service will be announced in the spring.
