Woelke, Heinz G. COTTAGE GROVE/ STOUGHTON - Heinz G. Woelke, age 73, of Stoughton, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at his daughters home. He was born on Aug. 9, 1933, in Germany, the son of Frederick and Gertrude (Wistowski) Woelke. Heinz immigrated to the U.S. in 1952. He worked at Oscar Mayer for more than 40 years, retiring in 1998. Heinz was an avid fan of horse and auto racing. He enjoyed spending time with friends in Door County. Heinz was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He loved spending time with his children and was "grandpa" to many. Heinz is survived by his children, Jane Ashton of Denver, Colo., Kim (Darci) Woelke of Madison and Susan (Rick) Balthazor of Stoughton; a sister, Gudrun (David) Braker of Horicon; 13 grandchildren, Jerred Ashton, Dustin (Estella) Woelke, Mariah Woelke, Shane (Heather) Woelke, Cody Dunn, Bobby Swenson, Daniel (Jocylyn Rude) Swenson, David Swenson, Tommy Swenson, Steven Swenson, Annie Balthazor, Casey and Korbin Ace; six great-grandchildren, Dustin Jr., Katherine, Brianna, Anna, Donovan and Dallas; and special friends, Kevin and Julie Raymond, Kathy Ace, Jeanne Depry and "the card club." Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Highway 51 North at Jackson Street, Stoughton, at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007. A special thanks to "Clara" and the Janesville HospiceCare, for their love and support.
