Susan is survived by her son, Donald (Beverly) of Black Earth; and her grandchildren, Cynthia (Kenneth) Brunner of Mount Horeb, Brian Ripp (fiancee, Janice Pertzborn) of Black Earth, Roxanna (Charles) OBrien of Verona, Anita (Gene) Brooks of Baraboo and Thomas (Cristin) Ripp of Black Earth. She was "Grandma Great" to Kyle, Benjamin, Garrett, Elizabeth, Lauren, Madeline, Susan, Kyra, Emily, Braden and Gage. Susan loved her family. They loved to go to "Grandma Greats" closet toy box to see what they could find to play with. She is also survived by her brother, Jonas Ziegler of Middleton; her sister, Sister Victoria Marie of Campbellsport; her sisters-in-law, Evie Ziegler and Betty Ziegler, both of Middleton and Theresa Ripp of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband, William, on May 26, 2002; her brothers, Theodore and Werner Ziegler; her sisters, Rosetta (Gerald) Endres, Kay (Martin) Ripp and Elizabeth (Joseph) Acker; sister-in-law, Martha (Leo) Schoepp; and brothers-in-law, Ray Ripp and Martin (Olive) Ripp. Funeral services will be held at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2947 Thinnes St., Cross Plains, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, with Father Tom Kelley presiding. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Xavier Endowment Fund or to Hospice. A special thank you to the St. Marys Hospital staff, especially Dr. Hernandez, for the wonderful care given to her during her illness, to Sister John Rose for her many visits, prayers and stories to keep Mom smiling.
