Jensen, Edwin L. "Ed" Organ pic here MADISON - Edwin L. "Ed" Jensen, age 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 26, 2007. He was born on June 6, 1929, in Madison, the son of Willis and Edith Jensen. He grew up in Letcher, South Dakota and moved to Madison after his high school graduation in 1947. Ed was united in marriage to Helen McKay in 1949, together they had five children. Ed then married Beverly Morris in 1977, who passed away in 2003. He was a life long mechanic working for Kayser Ford, International Harvester and retired from UPS as head mechanic after 26 years. Ed enjoyed taking fishing trips with his children, car races and was an avid Packer fan. He is survived by four sons, Edwin C. (Cheryl) Jensen of Colorado, David (Sue) Jensen of California, Robin (Robin) Jensen of Madison, and John (Pam) Jensen of Minnesota; a daughter, Gloria (special friend, Damon Ewing) Mantz of Madison; a step-son, Larry (special friend, Pat) Blazek of Madison; a step-daughter, Cindy (special friend, Ken Nelson) Brown of Madison; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly; three brothers, Arthur, Ingvall and William; a sister, Elsie Jensen; and step-son, Dennis Blazek. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at 1 p.m. at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. With love and heavy hearts, we must now say goodbye to our dad, grandpa, great-grandpa and uncle, we love you so dearly and your memory will always be a treasure in our hearts.
