Idore Sande

Sande, Idore DEFOREST/ MADISON - Idore "Spike" Sande, age 83, died on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at University Hospital. He was born on June 21, 1923, in the town of Vienna, to Henry and Anna (Rowe) Sande. Idore worked at DeForest Creamery and most recently Valley Packaging. He also mowed lawns in the DeForest area. Idore was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He had a deep admiration for fire departments and fire trucks and also was an avid Packers fan. Survivors include his brother, Lawrence (Jean) Sande of Portage; a sister-in-law, Louise Sande of Waunakee; nieces, Carol Sande of Beaver Dam, Anna (Richard) Jaterka of Arlington and Mary Chander of California; nephews, Harold (Shari) Sande of DeForest and Richard Sande of Middleton; a special friend, Helen Buechner; great-nieces, great-nephews, many cousins and close friends. Idore was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold and Edwin Sande. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, with the Rev. John Ruppenthal presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place at Morrisonville Cemetery, Morrisonville, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. Idores family wishes to thank all those special care givers, for their love and support over the years.
