Gerald Wenzel

Wenzel, Gerald W. MADISON - Gerald W. Wenzel, age 61, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, at St. Marys Hospital. He was born on April 18, 1945, in Neenah, the son of James and Alice Wenzel. Gerald was united in marriage to Lois Jean Cork on July 16, 1983, at HolyFamily Parish, Whitefish Bay. He worked for the Department Workforce Development for the State of Wisconsin. Gerald enjoyed long rides in the car and model trains. He is survived by his dad, James Wenzel; his wife, Lois Jean; a son, Keith Wenzel; three brothers, Robert (Karen), Thomas (Sandy) and Mike (Kay); two nieces, Tiffany and Tammy Wenzel; and his first wife, Helen Lampman (Al) Tumas. Gerald was preceded in death by his mother in October 2004. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, with Father Kent Schmitt presiding.
