Audrey Abrahamson

Abrahamson, Audrey M. MADISON - Audrey Margaret Abrahamson died on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at the Ellen and Peter Johnson HospiceCare Residence in Fitchburg. She was born on April 20, 1930, to Albert and Gladys (Fitting) Niebuhr in La Crosse. She attended La Crosse Central High School and then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she graduated in 1951 with a degree in education. She was married on Sept. 8, 1951, to James Abrahamson in La Crosse. In 1980 she completed her masters degree in accounting at UW-Madison. Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors are her loving husband, Jim of Madison; her brother, Dennis (Carin) Niebuhr of Ashland, Ore.; her sister, Marian (David) Reid of Ayr, Scotland; her children, Eric and Amy of Madison, Margaret (Peter) Sheeks of Waunakee and Bruce (Liz) of Eugene, Ore.; along with many nieces and nephews. Per Audreys request there will be no services or visitation. The immediate family will have a ceremony at a future date to celebrate her life.
