Hazel St. John

St. John, Hazel M. MADISON - Hazel M. St. John, age 83, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006. She was born on Feb. 3, 1923, in Pittsville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard St. John. Hazel enjoyed reading, bird watching, and shopping, she especially enjoyed clothes shopping. Hazel worked for many years as a waitress. She had an enduring smile and sparkling eyes that will be missed by her friends and caretakers. She is survived by her sister, Phoebe Lenz. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. A special thanks to Segoe Gardens, Belmont Nursing and Rehabilitation, Gateway Community Support Programs and the Adult Family Home System in Dane County for all the care they have given to Hazel.
