Donald Schreiber

Schreiber, Donald "Don" MADISON - Donald "Don" Schreiber, age 76, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, at home. He was born on April 5, 1930, in Madison, a son of Robert and Dorothy Schreiber. Don married Patricia Vincent on June 26, 1954, in Madison. He was employed at Gardner Bakery and retired from Madison Concrete and Pipe. Don was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He enjoyed his daily walks, talking about growing up in "the Bush," his old time movies, and telling Ole and Lena jokes. Don was a simple man with a big heart. He is survived by his brother, Bob of Beloit; a sister, Evelyn Schreiber of Madison; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sharon (Allen) Farwell of Cottage Grove, Jim (Becky) Vincent of California, Richard (Irene) Vincent of California, and Robert (Connie) Vincent of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. Don was preceded in death by his wife and best friend, Patty; his parents; infant daughter, Catherine; and a sister, Lorretta. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, from 11 a.m. until noon on Friday, Dec. 22, 2006. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
