Cynthia Brown

Brown, Cynthia S. STOUGHTON - Cynthia S. Brown, age 43, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006. She was the daughter of Eunice Laveau of Stoughton and Eugene E. Brown of Viroqua. She had spent most of her young life helping people in one way or another. She studied for a CMA and upon completion, she worked as an attendant in homes and hospitals. She also was a leader in an AWANA program in different churches. She became very ill with a pain condition that could not be conquered in later years. She was the youngest child of the family, living most of her school years in Deerfield and then later, moved to Stoughton. Cynthia is survived by her parents; a sister, Connie (Ronald) Arndt; four brothers, Ronald (Francine), David, Gerald (Laurel) and Charles (Lynda); seven nieces and nephews; seven great nieces and great nephews; and a special cousin, Kenneth (Rosalind) McKennon. She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Jr. Funeral services will be held at the GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006. The Rev. John McCarthy of Lakeview Moravian Church will be presiding. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
