Obituary

Blabaum Warren H.V. OREGON - Warren Henry Vernon Blabaum passed away gently to God and eternity on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at the Anderson Johnson HospiceCare Center. Warren was born on May 27, 1922, in Highland, the son of Walter and Adella Blabaum. He had two sons with wife Elaine Graffin. Warren and Mary Bomkamp Ryan were married on April 9, 1969. He enjoyed a long and progressively advanced career with Mobil Oil Co. in Madison and Milwaukee. Warren and Mary retired to Oregon, where he was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. Always active, he was a fan of card games, hunting, fishing, bowling, baseball, Florida winters and good stories. Survivors include his sons, Gene (Mary) Blabaum, Bill (Sue) Ryan; a daughter-in-law, Ann Reynolds; grandchildren, Amanda (Tim) Radke, Steven Ryan, Nicole (Jeff) Roxberg; a sister/niece, Marcia (Bob) Hardie; many cousins and other relatives and friends. Warren was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Mary; a sister, Virginia Anklam; a son, Nicholas; and a great-grandson, Jacob Andrew Roxberg. Funeral services will be held at ST. JOHNS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 625 E. Netherwood, Oregon at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, with the Reverend Paul Markquart presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 431 Soden Drive, Oregon from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006. Friends may also call on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. A kind and caring man; he will be always loved and greatly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Johns Lutheran Church, HospiceCare, Inc., the Salvation Army or to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
